U Maung Kyay
is founder and Managing Director of National Infrastructure Holdings Co., Ltd.
Prior to founding NIHC in 2015, U Maung Kyay has had 20 years of experience as a founding member and Director of Asia World Co., Ltd. He served as a General Manager from 1991 – 1993, and was appointed as Director from 1994 – 2014. During his tenure, he was the Chief Trader for commodities, construction materials consumer goods, industrial raw materials, vehicles and heavy equipment. Additionally, he acted as the Project Director for various infrastructure projects, including the Ahlone and Hteedan container terminals, Union Highway (1041 km), Magwe Airport runway and terminal, Heho Airport runway expansion and upgrading, Lashio Airport runway expansion, Yangon International Airport (Phase I), Nay Pyi Taw Airport, Thaukyegat Hydropower (120MW), and Magway Institute of Medicine. Other projects include various construction developments of ministries offices, hospitals, city halls, stadiums, apartment buildings, and housing estates. Aside from Asia world, U Maung Kyay was the founder and Managing Director of Asia Tech Co., Ltd from 1997-2007, which retails and wholesales computer equipment across Myanmar.
U Than Myint
founded National Infrastructure Holdings Company Limited and was appointed as Director in March 2015 after serving as Director with Asia World for 20 years. U Than Myint plays important role in all of NIHC’s major investment initiatives and financial decisions.
He holds the position of Managing Director in several companies, namely Golden Mountain Company Limited, Green Asia Services Company Limited and Oriental Highway Company Limited. In addition, he holds directorship in several companies, namely, Win Myint Mo Construction Company Limited, Win Myint Mo Industries Company Limited, Regency Material Trading Company Limited, Ngwe Su Thit Micro Finance, Resources Group of Companies, Virtue Land Company Limited and Majority Power Company Limited.
